She won’t feel safe running her country store until she solves this mystery.
With the help of her psychic horse, Luna, who sends her dreams, and the spirit of the dead man who continually appears to her, Crystal realizes that they are trying to tell her something vitally important. Fearing that the warnings are for her, Crystal recruits her friends, who gather at the store every morning for coffee, to help unearth what’s going on.

Agatha Christie’s The Mysterious Affair at Styles
In this first book, she introduces Hercule Poirot and Arthur Hastings, so they were with Agatha from the start.
The image is the dust jacket of the first edition in the UK and the USA. The cover artists was Alfred James Dewey.
Here is a brief summary of this clever and famous book:
In the Styles household, Emily Inglethorp, the elderly owner of the house is found dead in the morning hours. She has been poisoned with strychnine and the killer is assumed to be one of the residents of the Styles house.
Arthur Hastings, Hercule Poirot’s friend, was invited as a guest and is retelling the tale of the murder from his point of view. Hercule Poirot tells him the details of the murder. As they gather clues, they try to figure out who the killer is and how the murder was done.
Book and Author History:
Christie first began working on this novel in 1916 and used her own experiences to shape the novel. She had enlisted in both World Wars and served in hospital dispensaries where she learned about poisons which have been major themes in her books.
Her writing career started off slow after getting rejected six consecutive times (so all you authors out there, take heart). Once published, this book did well and received many favorable reviews (as yours will, too).
She ended up writing over 60 novels and 14 short stories in her long career. Christie has been listed as the best-selling mystery author of all time by Guinness World Records with over two billion copies sold.
